(YEAR OF THE QUEEN REMIX)
Nevertheless, 2012 has arrived & word is going around that 2012 is the so-called “Year Of The Queen.” We all know why. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the 2008 version of “Like A Prayer” as seen on the Sticky & Sweet Tour. It samples Meck’s “Feels Like Home” with Felix’s “Don’t You Want Me” THOSE ORGANS ARE ENTRANCING & EPIC, just like Madonna, of course. Meck later released an official radio version of “Feels Like Home” based on the version used on the S&S Tour, however, it did not feature Madonna’s angelic vocals from the original “Like A Prayer” song.
BUT NOW, I have worked on a brand new remix of both songs & is the closest I can ever get to the Sticky & Sweet Tour version. It’s identical to it, only that I have put in Madonna’s original vocals !!! It’s very enigmatic & heavenly. It’s like the world is going to end only to be saved by our Queen… very apocalyptic.
